yes, its still the same blog, i just wanted to refine it a bit. make it more centered on my writing and God and my positive outlook on life than my nerdy fantasies. a little frustrated right now that I'm not on a computer that has photo editing, or else i would have a more specific background pic.
so why the new title change?
I love daisies. i love to draw them. I'm a terrible artist, but i love doodling them. it's my little trademark
dandelions are the fastest spread weed out there. and before they are in seeds form, they are a scrumptious meal for herbivore animals. In my life i see sharing the gospel as not others describe: "spread like wildfire"where it is dangerous and destructive, but as gently and peacefully spread like dandelions.
pink lemonade is the iconic image of hospitality, besides southern sweet tea. so the phrase, "serve up the truth like its pink lemonade" is like a sentence worth 100 happy emotions. hospitality is an open heart, an open ear, an open mind. hospitality is welcoming someone into your private place, your shelter, your mess. hospitality is an open fridge. not just for close friends who can get it themselves, but hospitality is servitude that you can get sweet tea, pink lemonade, or a cookie for them. if we all (not just christians, but the average human) took the time, patience and love to speak truth in our everyday life the way that you are hospitable to family or your best friends, this world would be a better place.
